Volume 1 - Coins Across
The New York Coin Magic Seminar guys, Roth, Latta, Gallo, Rubinstein,
along with our special guest from Coins Seminar II Kainoa Harbottle, filmed
the first of what we hope will be several DVD's on various aspects of
Coin Magic. Our first offering is a special Two Volume DVD, over four
hours long, on the subject of Coins Across. We will present over 27 different
routines on coins across, including new techniques, presentations, applications,
unpublished material, palms up, down, open, closed, gaffs, no gaffs, extra
coins, no extra coins, stand up , sit down and MORE! And on top of that,
new and novel ways to get the last coin into the spectators hand!
Let's Take A Look At Some Of The Offerings!!.....
From Roth - His classic
and masterful rendition of Winged Sliver, Chink A Chink, Shell Coins
Across and his handling of the Chanin Coin Production and Victor Coins
Across. David's handlings are so beautiful that you might be tempted
to stop right there. But wait, there's still more!
From Rubinstein - SIX
routines, including Retro Fly (the hit of his recent European tour),
two handlings of The Impossible Four Coin Trick (the first was only
taught at the Coin Seminars, the second is an Unpublished handling that
allows you to get three ahead), Short Term, Long Term (unpublished and
using only three coins), and two updated unpublished handlings of his
Specciolini Bros. Coins Across, including his impromptu and formal show
presentations. Included on this DVD for the first time are uses of the
Purse Palm Subtlety, and two false counts that you will immediately
put to use in your own routines!
From Latta - Six more
routines - two versions of Slippery Silver, Spectator Coins Across (this
is the place to learn Geoff's handling of Han Ping Chein), M.A.Y.B.E.L.L.I.N.E.,
the trick with the three coins (a reputation maker!), and Geoff's technical
re-handling of Kenner's Three Fly.
From Gallo - Five routines
are presented that will quickly establish you as a master of coin magic:
Han Ping Chien Less (don't blink!), B.O.B. (a handling with coins traveling
while isolated under a glass, and an incredible technique for getting
the last coin into a spectator's hand), Easy Coins Across (thanks, spectator
boy!), Sliding Eagles (one of Mike's favorites), and Coins into Spectator's
Hands.
From Harbottle - Four
routines in the style that has firmly established Kainoa as one of the
movers and shakers in the coin magic world. Another Flipping Three Fly
baffles the imagination, Punctuated Equilibrium Coins Across (Mutobe
Baby, yeah!), Deja Flew (with a Repeat coins into spectators hand -
twice as nice!), and lastly, Deja Flew Two (when one is not enough).
We could have stopped there, but not
the guys from the New York Coin Magic Seminar!
There is a Bonus Section, with the panel
discussions on the routines presented, history of fingertips across,
and what actually constitutes a coins across. But no, we couldn't stop
there! There is also a sneak peek into our famous New York Coin Magic
Seminar with a video montage, extra tips on moves used in the routines,
a bonus coins across from Geoff Latta, and even a surprise or two more.

Volume 2 - Copper Silver - Coin Champions
Volume
2 concentrates on Wild Coin and Two Copper One Silver. Dr. Michael Rubinstein
presents his Twilight-Zone Wild Coin and the Merlini Purse Routine.
David Roth teaches three versions of Wild Coin, including a new, unpublished
version he has held back for years! Gallo has three versions of Wild
Coin, including one that is performed in the Spectators Hands! All are
different and very practical.
In
the Two Copper One Silver section, For the first time, Latta presents
his Cop Sil Brass from "Coinmagic". Rubinstein presents a
triple change effect called Copper Sandwich. Roth presents an impossible
triple change using an Okito box and Gallo gives his own take on the
Two Copper One Silver plot.
The
Bonus section is packed full with material from the seminars. Here you

Volume 3 - Copper Silver - Coin Champions
This
volume continues the Copper Silver theme with another two hours of non-stop
Coin-Magic.
The
Spellbound section is highlighted with routines from Dr. Michael Rubinstein
and Mike Gallo.
The
next section discusses Copper Silver routines with such props as purses,
boxes and handkerchiefs. Rubinstein starts off with the Sub Trunk illusion
done with coins. Following that is a three-phase routine using a handkerchief
and a new way to utilize the J. W. Grip. David Roth presents his own
handling in a four-phase routine. Gallo shows a wild, wild coin routine.
Roth then presents his classic Purse And Glass Routine after which,
Latta and Gallo present their own unique versions.
As
with volume two, there is a bonus section filled with material filmed
at the New York Coin Magic Seminars. Found here, is an in-depth discussion
of one-hand coin switches by the master himself, DAVID ROTH. Rubinstein
and guest, Marc DeSouza, also discuss two more spellbound routines.
At last, Gallo follows with an alternate ending for his Which Way Wild
routine.
There
is enough material in this and volume two to last a long, long time.
But that wasn't enough for the New York Coin Guys, so they went ahead
and made Volume Four!

Volume 4 - Copper Silver - Coin Champions
Volume
4 contains two more hours of solid coin magic that deals with transpositions.
Dr. Rubinstein presents 5 routines, using several new techniques, and
an unpublished four-phase routine with all new moves. David Roth follows
with a classic, with kudos to Fred Kaps. Mike Gallo shows off his own
handlings of another famous Fred Kaps routine and Geoff Latta follows
with an ultra clean transposition done entirely in the spectator's hand!
Latta struts his stuff with a unique presentation of the Sun and Moon
and finally, releases his Deep Back Clip material, held back for years,
with his Deep Back Clip Copper Silver.
Once
again the Bonus section contains unique insights into the Copper Silver
theme from the famous New York Coin Magic Seminars. There's an entire
lesson on Copper Silver Transpositions from David Roth and a vintage
clip from 1986 on Matting Techniques from Michael Rubinstein. Rubinstein
and Latta round out this section with discussions on two of the tricks
performed in the trick section of this DVD.
