Get
in contact with the spirit world…
This
trick requires a lot of concentration, as you will have to get in contact
with the spirit world to perform it. Tear off the corner of a sheet of
paper, roll it up into a ball and place it on a piece of aluminum foil.
This will serve as the physical contact point between you and the soul
haunting the premises...
You need to conjure up
the spirits…
Spread
your cards evenly in a line on the table. Shuffle them, and then ask a
spectator to choose a card. Ask him to memorize the card and to return
it himself to the pack. Then simply place the pack on the table. Now you
need to conjure up the spirits to help you reveal the identity of the
chosen card...
The image of the chosen
card slowly materializes…
Set
fire to the paper ball and ask the audience to assist you in your trance
as the paper slowly smolders away... Thanks to your intense concentration,
the ashes are now charged with supernatural forces that will serve as
a phantom revealer... Now place the white sheet of paper with the ripped
corner on the deck, sprinkle some ashes over it and rub them slowly with
the crumpled piece of aluminum foil. The image of the chosen card slowly
materializes, and you are gradually able to interpret it: "it's a
heart". The image becomes clearer, and you announce that "it's
a seven of hearts" as it appears under the eyes of the audience!
The spirits didn't let you down!
Give
the paper showing the image of the card to the spectator as a souvenir...
